Description
MPA samples in bulk drug and in injection formulation were analyzed as follows: An agilent HPLC system equiped with photodiode-array detector and chemstation software were used for the analysis. A C18, (150 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 micrometer) column from Hichron was used. Samples were separated under isocratic elution with a mobile phase composed of 65:35 (v/v) methanol/acetate buffer (0.02 M sodium acetate, adjusted to pH 5.0 with glacial acetic acid). The injection volume was 20 microliters; the detection wavelength was 245 nm; the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min; and the column temperature was set at 35 deg. C.
