Norethynodrel

Norethynodrel (NOR) is a synthetic progestogen used in hormonal contraceptives and for the treatment of gynecological disorders. It is generally no longer used. It is a prodrug of norethindrone (NET), although NET is only a minor metabolite of NOR.
